Dear NYCONN Security Team,
As you know, my husband and I had your team install nanny cams over the summer. It was the best money we ever spent. We hired two nannies/babysitters with impeccable references. We left our four week old daughter at the time in the care of the first nanny and we continued to witness her ignore our newborn and text all day not to mention raid our refrigerator (we told her to help herself at times, but not to the point of disrespect). I was able to watch this and I literally cringed. She was let go without confrontation. Our second nanny/babysitter, who came along two weeks later, with excellent references stayed for longer. She was actually becoming a part of our family. We finally built trust to leave her alone with our baby months later. Recently, I was able to log in from work while she was alone with our baby. Needless to say, I actually logged on at a time to witness her leave my baby for a long period of time and she could not be found on any of the other cameras in our home. Where was she??? I watched the live feed for a pain-staking 25 minutes, crying at work.and it gets worse.I also watched how she let my baby fall over and flail on the floor while she continued to eat her lunch and watch TV. She continued to neglect her all day long and left her alone while she watched TV on our couch. What if my baby suffocated on the floor? I knew that by watching the baby she was not playng but struggling to turn over. When asked about the baby needing support she lied to me saying that the baby was supported at all times with a bobby pillow, which also was not true. Not once the entrie day did the baby have the support of a pillow.I was able to review the entire day thanks to the DVR. We would have never suspected this behavior based on her actions when we were around and had we not had your camera in our home, who knows how the neglect would have progressed. Thank you so much for giving us the ability to protect our child. After this incident this babysitter was not allowed back in our home and was also released without confrontation. In a "Perfect World" there would never be a need for a product like this. Unfortunately the most vulnerable, infants will fall victim to the less than acceptable treatment by someone who pretends to care about them. The most important thing I can say as a parent to two small children is: *"Trust Your Instincts"*. So often I tried to justify why we really don't need hidden cameras in our home, but the reality is, we needed to protect our home and our baby. Again, I often second guessed myself if we should spend the money to protect our children-now I know that this was the best investment because you cannot put a price on peace of mind, or your child's life- especially when *a baby does not have a voice* to tell you that something is wrong. I cannot thank NYCONN enough for everything, especially the your products you offer and what company has done for our family. NYCONN cares and takes the time to know their clients and their needs. The NYCONN support team personally made sure we were completely happy, walking us through the entire process even down to which cameras and devices we needed. Everyone will beamazed at this outstanding technology. I can honestly say that my baby was spared from being treated worse and maybe even *an irreversible incident*- thanks to your services. The response to making a copy of this video of the day of the incident was also great.Please have any parents who are seriously considering video security call me for personal references.
